Data controller
Comisiones Díaz, S.A., based in Chitré, Herrera, Panama, is responsible for the personal data we receive through this site. We handle your data under Panama's Personal Data Protection Law (Ley 81 de 2019) and its regulations.
What we collect
Quote form: your name, email, service of interest and, if you enter them, your WhatsApp or phone number and your message.
WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you share in the conversation. WhatsApp handles it under its own privacy policy.
Analytics: only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics records statistics on which pages you visit, your device type and approximate location.
Security: to prevent abuse we log technical details of form submissions, such as the IP address, for a limited time.
Why we use it
To answer your request, prepare your quote and follow up on your order; to protect the site from spam and abuse; and, with your consent, to understand how the site is used and improve it.
We don't sell your data or send you marketing without your permission.
Legal basis
Your consent, given when you send the form, message us, or accept analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
The providers we need to run the site, who process data on our behalf: Vercel (site hosting), Resend (sending the form's emails), Google (company email and, only with your consent, Google Analytics). Some of these providers are in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside Panama.
We may also disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, plus what our legal and accounting obligations require. Then we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or request a portable copy, by writing to our contact email. We'll answer within the time limits set by law.
If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact Panama's National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).
Security
The site only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to your data to the people who need it to serve you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll publish the new version on this page with its update date.
